About Bayou Brothers Nursery and Cactarium
Bayou Brothers is a boutique, family-run nursery, located in Sydney, Australia, where we have carved a unique niche in the market. We specialize in rare succulents, cactus, geophytes, and caudex plants, offering a bizarre and wondrous selection that appeals to enthusiasts and collectors alike.
Our focus is on strange and exotic plants, primarily from Africa and the Americas. This cultivated range has allowed us to present our customers with a rare and intriguing collection that is often hard to find elsewhere.
We take pride in our hands-on approach to cultivation. Most of the plants sold at our nursery have been raised from seed sowed right here on the premises. This ensures the quality and authenticity of each plant, allowing us to provide our customers with healthy, thriving specimens that reflect our commitment to excellence.
Shipping Policy
At our nursery, we have established a detailed shipping policy to ensure that our plants reach our customers in perfect condition. Plants are generally sent out bare-rooted unless otherwise specified in the listing. We make it a point to send out the exact plant pictured in the listing unless stated otherwise. In cases where a different plant is to be sent, you can rest assured that the plant you receive will be of equal size and quality.
Orders are processed with care and are typically posted on Wednesdays. For plant orders, we use Australia Post Express Post to ensure timely delivery. Seed orders, on the other hand, are sent via Australia Post Regular Post.
Please note that there are some restrictions on shipping locations. Due to quarantine regulations, plants cannot be sent to WA, NT, or Tasmania. Additionally, international shipping of plants is not available at this time. Our policies reflect our adherence to regional and international guidelines, ensuring a smooth and compliant delivery process.
Refunds and Returns Policy
Refunds are available for damage in transit or non-arrival of goods. In cases where plants are damaged upon arrival, photo evidence will be required to validate the claim. We employ postage tracking to accurately determine the arrival of packages, ensuring transparent communication with our customers.
It is important to note that returns are not available in instances of a change of mind or damage occurring after the plant has arrived. We take great care in packaging and shipping our plants, but cannot be responsible for conditions beyond our control.
With regard to seeds, we cannot guarantee the germination rates of the seeds sold. Our responsibility extends to ensuring the freshness of the seeds we sell, but refunds will not be granted in instances of poor germination rates.
Should you encounter any issues with your order or have any concerns, please contact us to organise a refund or return. We are here to assist you and will work diligently to address your needs in accordance with our established policies.
